FENI: The law enforcement agency filed five cases against over 300 leaders and activists of the opposition BNP and its front organization on Thursday on charge of attacking a police outpost in the town.

Five Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Sadar Thana police filed the cases.

ASI Alamgir Hossain, second officer of Feni Sadar Thana, told banglanews that the cases were filed under murder, explosives act, arson and vandalism acts.

On Wednesday afternoon, Harunur Rashid, vice president of Farhad Nagar Union Jubo Dal was killed and over 50 people, including three police men, were injured in a clash between police and district Jubo Dal.
