COMILLA: District BNP unit Chhatra Dal (north) called dawn-to-dusk hartal in seven upazilas of the district for Monday protesting the arrest of BNP standing committee member MK Anwar and Chhatra Dal central president and other leaders.

Chhatra Dal president (north) Chowdhury Rakibul Haque Shipon declared the hartal program on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, Chandina, Muradnagar, Debidwar, Daudkandi, Homna, Meghna and Titas Upazilas will be out of purview of hartal.
