BNP’s three associate bodies- Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Swechchasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal- started their ‘Tarunner (youth) road march’ from Rangpur to Dinajpur on Saturday noon to create pressure on the government to quit and hold the next poll under a non-party caretaker government. 

They started the road march programme from Rangpur town via Syedpur Dashmile to Dinajpur at 11.20am.

Earlier on September 13, Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Swechchasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal – associate bodies of BNP–jointly announced the road march program on September 16 and 17.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is also participating in the road march. 

On September 17, the road march will begin from Bogura via Santahar, Naogaon and will end in Rajshahi.
