Prominent lawyer and politician Dr Kamal Hossain announced his resignation from the post of president of the Gono Forum on Friday (October 27).

He announced this at the special national council of the Gono Forum at the National Press Club in the capital. 

Dr. Kamal in this regard said, "I am announcing my resignation from all the political activities and from the post of president of the Gono Forum,”

Gono Forum was formed in 1992, under the leadership of Kamal Hossain as party president.
