DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Wednesday said Khaleda Zia is not house arrested as the government did not issue gazette notification in this regard.

Inu, also Jatiya Somajtantrik Dal (JSD) president, came up with the assertion at Bangabandhu Avenue party office on Wednesday in response to a query of the journalists.
 
JSD General Secretary Sharif Nurul Ambia announced party’s election manifesto ahead of 10th Parliamentary Election at the programme.

Some 26 candidates from the party are participating in upcoming national polls.
