Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today (January 13) said individuals who boycotted the 12th parliamentary election have not retreated, rather they have resorted to conspiracy afresh so that this government cannot stay in power.

Mentioning that the opposition is expecting sanctions like those in Cambodia, he said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina does not care about any visa policy.

Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, made these remarks during an exchange of views with journalists after paying tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at his mausoleum in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
