NOAKHALI: Communications Minister Obaidul Quader categorically said that his party Awami League did not believe in politics of revenge.

“But we will prevent any attack and will continue our fight against poverty, corruption and militancy,” he warned.

The minister made the assertion while addressing a rally at Companiganj upazila in the district after visiting government institutes, rampaged by Jamaat-Shibir in the area.

Obaidul Quader said, “People will punish the culprits who are behind the killings, rampage throughout the country in the name of agitation programme.”

He also firmly criticized BNP’s rejection in 10th polls.
