JAMALPUR: A Juba Dal activist succumbed to his injuries at Mymensingh Sadar Hospital early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Sujan, 30, son of Chan Khan and resident of Bhatara union under Sharishabari upazila of the district.

Family sources claimed that Bhata union Awami League activists abducted Sujon and chopped indiscriminately, leaving him injured critically around 5:00am Sunday.

Later, locals rescued him and rushed to the Mymensingh Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
