BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is preparing to travel abroad for advanced medical treatment.

As part of the preparations, she visited the US Embassy in Dhaka to secure a visa for her trip to the United States.

Sources said that Khaleda Zia left her Gulshan residence, Firoza, around 2:15 pm and arrived at the US Embassy in Baridhara shortly after, at 2:22 pm.
