BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said his party’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of all citizens, regardless of religion, caste, or creed.

Speaking at the unveiling of the Sri Sri Shanidev Mandir plaque at Kalibari Temple in Thakurgaon, Fakhrul said the importance of tolerance and harmony, urging all to work together for a beautiful and inclusive Bangladesh.

He said certain media outlets for spreading communal misinformation and recalled the longstanding harmony among communities in the country.

Local Hindu leaders and senior BNP leaders also attended the event, after which Fakhrul visited the nearby Mother Teresa School.
