DHAKA: Police raided central office of capital’s Paltan unit of Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, and recovered four cocktails along with numbers of Jihadi books.

Acting on tip off that some Shibir men are holding a clandestine meeting, Paltan thana police carried out the drive around 11:30am.

No was reportedly held from the drive.

The process is underway to file case in this connection.

Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector Shaheedul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
