DHAKA: Hearing of a revision case challenging the celebration of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s birthday on August 15 will be held on July 18 in the High Court.

Advocate Suhrawardy had filed the case on August 20, 1997 with an Assistant Judge`s court in Dhaka seeking an injunction so that Khaleda Zia could not celebrate her birthday on August 15.

Later in 1999, a civil revision case was filed with the High Court on behalf of Khaleda Zia seeking cancellation of the case.
