SATKHIRA: An Awami League man was killed in a factional clash at Ashashuni upazila in the district on Sunday afternoon.  

The deceased was identified as Ashraf Hossain, an activist of the ruling party.  

Sources said the clash between the two groups took place around 5:00pm, leaving Ashraf injured. Later, he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. 

Officer-in-Charge of Ashashuni Thana Ashsan Habib confirmed the matter to banglanews.
