AL rally begins at Suhrawardy

DHAKA: The rally of ruling Awami League (AL) began at Suhrawardy Udyan marking Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s homecoming day.

With AL presidium member Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury in the chair, the rally started in presence of hundreds of leaders and activists of the party at the venue at 2:35pm Monday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to address the rally as chief guest.
