DHAKA: A Dhaka court Monday sent Mosaddek Ali Falu, adviser to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and former lawmaker, to jail after a 13-day remand in three phases.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tareq Mahbubur Rahman issued the order.
Earlier on February 2, Falu was remanded for five days in an arson attack case filed with Khilgaon Thana of the capital on January 30.
Later on February 7, Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman granted a three-day remand to Falu in car vandalism and arson attack cases filed with Badda Thana.
A Dhaka court, on February 11, granted another five-day remand to Mosaddek Ali Falu in a cocktail blast case filed with Mirpur Thana in the city.
However, plainclothes police picked Falu up from the premises of BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office around 7:45pm on February 1.
