DHAKA: A group of blockaders torched a passenger bus in city’s NABISCO area on Thursday night.

None was reportedly injured in the incident.

A witness rickshaw-van puller Mohammad Karim said that some blockaders set fire to a ‘Balaka’ bus while it was crossing NABISCO intersection.

However, the passengers managed to get down from the bus, he added.

Fire Service on-duty officer Amzad Hossain told banglanews that on information, a fire service unit rushed to the place and doused the fire.
