FENI: The district unit of BNP has called a spell of 3-day shutdown in the district from Sunday morning protesting the arrest of its acting president and general secretary.

Feni BNP Office Secretary Sirajul Islam made the announcement through a press release on Friday noon.

Earlier, the law enforcers arrested Feni district unit of BNP acting president advocate Abu Taher and general secretary Zia Uddin on charge of bomb attack.

Later, they were denied bail and sent to jail in the case.
