DHAKA: Five pedestrians were injured as miscreants blasted a cocktail in city’s Nilkhet intersection on Friday night.

The injured are—Rashedul Islam, Hajji Mohammad Abul Kalam, Mohammad Musa Rahman, Mohammad Rakib Ahmed and Mohammad Sumon.

Police sources said that a gang of anarchists blasted a cocktail on the road in the area, leaving them injured critically.

However, the locals stormed them to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector (SI) Babul Mia confirmed the matter to banglanews.
