DHAKA: BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed Sunday said they would provide compensation to those who became the victims of government ‘attack’ while participating in the ongoing movement.

People, who died during the movement, would be given the honor of ‘national hero’, he said.

The spokesperson for the party made the assertion in a statement.

He also said, “The party will bring the people involved in extra-judicial killing under justice.”

In the statement, the BNP leader commented that the “fall of the government is a matter of time”.

The statement further called upon the members of BNP and its allies for observing hartal and blockade peacefully in restoring democracy.
