BOGRA: A truck-driver was hurt as a group of miscreants hurled petrol bomb on his truck on Dupchanchia-Akkelpur road in Bogra on Wednesday midnight.

The victim is identified as Jamal Hossain Sagar.

After visitng the place on Thursday Dupchanchia Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdus Sabur said that the strawberry-laden truck started from Joypur to go to Karwanbazar in Dhaka. A group of miscreants stopped the vehicle and hurled the petrol bomb.

The victim is admitted to Dupchanchia Upazila Health Complex, he added.

According to the SI, process of filing a case is underway.
