SUNAMGANJ: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith termed BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as an enemy of the country.

He also said that Khaleda is leading her party by creating terrorism in the country.

So, she is the ‘queen of terrors’, the minister added.

He came up with the comment in a reception program in the district town arranged by Sunamganj municipality on Thursday afternoon.

Muhith also said that the petrol bomb attacks and violent activities of the anarchists are breaching the peace of the country.

According to the minister, terrorism needs to be encountered strictly in the country.

He also said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working for peace and development of the nation.

He also mentioned that the incumbent government has been appreciated at home and abroad for its great efforts to ensure food, education, health, communication and developing rural infrastructure in the country.

Muhith also urged everyone to prevent the violent activities of Khaleda Zia for the sake of country’s peace and development.

Sunamganj municipality mayor Ayub Bakht Jaglu chaired the program where finance and planning state minister MA Mannan, MP Muhibur Rahman Manik among others were also present.
