DHAKA: Ruling Awami League’s (AL) advisory committee member Suranjit Sengupta termed the ‘missing’ of BNP joint-secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed for a week a ‘bad sign’ for politics.
He came up with this assertion while addressing a discussion held at Institution of Diploma Engineers auditorium in city on Monday.
Expressing hope about finding Salahuddin, the AL senior leader said politics should openly be practiced with the support of people. But, now it has turned subversive which is a terrible indication.
Suranjit also alleged that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has provoked violence by arranging her recent press conference.
