DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina categorically said the trial and execution of the verdicts against the war criminals will continue in spite of violences being carried out by the BNP-led alliance.

She made the assertions on Wednesday afternoon while addressing a discussion at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) commemorating the 96th birth anniversary of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Also ruling Awami League president, Sheikh Hasina alleged that BNP, even, made the war criminals prime minister of the country by initiating changes in the four principles of the constitution.

The premier also said those who killed the father of the nation in 1975 were rewarded by getting appointments at foreign missions.

She also slammed the BNP chairperson saying “she is planning to kill countrymen staying at her (Gulshan) office”.
