GAIBANGHA: Police held four people with 4 petrol bombs in Ulyabazar area in Saghata upazila of Ganbandha on Tuesday noon.
The detainees were identified as Abdul Jalil (45) and Shahin Mia (38), Sharif Mia (28) and Babu Mia (25), three sons of Akbar Ali of the area.
Confirming the matter to banglanews, Saghata Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said Shahin with some others went to occupy a pond of Bharatkhali Union Parishad.
They, later, took shelter to their house as locals chased them.
On information, police conducted a search drive at the house and detained four with four cocktails.
