DHAKA: Mayoral contenders for Dhaka North, Dhaka South and Chittagong City Corporations exercised their franchise in respective polling station early hours of voting that started at 8:00am Tuesday. 
   
In the Dhaka South City Corporation, Awami League-supported mayoral candidate Sayeed Khokon also cast his vote Nazira Bazaar Islamia School while BNP-supported candidate Mirza Abbas is expected to cast his vote at Mirza Abbas College center.

In Dhaka North City Corporation, Tabith Awal along with family members cast his vote at Manarat College vote center in Gulshan while Anisul Huq exercised his franchise at Banani Biddya Niketan around 9:30am.

Besides, Nader Chowdhury at Kishaloy Girls High School in the Dhaka North City Corporation while Mahi B Chowdhury exercised his franchise at Baridhara Park Road center and Jonaid Saki at  Ispahani Girls High School in Maghbazar area.

In Chittagong City Corporation, AL-backed mayoral candidate AJM Nasir cast his vote around 9:00am at Municipal Model School and College while BNP-supported candidate Manjur Alam gave his vote at Haji Daud Government Primary School in port city’s Uttar Katthali area around 9:40am.
