DHAKA: The namaj-e-janaza of former BNP lawmaker Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintu will be held at city’s Naya Paltan area Monday morning.
A press release has been issued in this regard signed by BNP assistant office secretary Abdul Latif Jony on Sunday.
The leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations and all well wishers requested to come on namaj-e-janaza of Pintu which will be held around 11:30am, the release said.
It also added that black flags will be hoisted in all party offices across the country to mourn the death of Pintu.
Pintu, who was serving life in prison for his involvement in 2009 BDR mutiny, died of cardiac arrest in Rajshahi on Sunday.
