DHAKA: A discussion will be arranged at Engineers Institution Seminar Hall in city on Wednesday to mark the 34th death anniversary of former president also BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.

The discussion, to be organized by BNP’s women wing Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, will be held at 11:00am on the day.

A press release, sent by Mohila Dal, informed the media on Tuesday.

BNP standing committee member Lieutenant General (Retd) Mahbubur Rahman will be present as chief guest and BNP vice-chairpersons Abdullah Al Noman and Selima Rahman as special guests at the discussion, to be presided over by Mohila Dal president Nuri Ara Safa.

The organization’s general secretary Shirin Sultana will conduct the discussion.

All Mohila Dal leaders and activists are requested to be present at the program in time, said the release.

However, former president Ziaur Rahman was assassinated in Chittagong on May 30 in 1981.
