KHULNA: Former speaker and also a BNP founding member Advocate Sheikh Razzak Ali has been buried by the graves of his parents, according to his wish.

After the second namaz-e-janaza, Razzak’s burial was held at Hitampur village in Paikgachha upazila in Khulna district at 6:20pm on Monday.

Khulna metropolitan city unit BNP joint-secretary Principal Tariqul Islam told banglanews that several hundreds of people took part in the janaza at Boalia Primary School playground after Asr prayer.

Razzak’s first janaza was held at Khulna Circuit House playground earlier this morning.

The former speaker died on Sunday noon. He was 87 and had been suffering from cancer for three years.
