TALA (SATKHIRA): Police arrested expelled chairman of Islamkati Union Parishad (UP) and also a Jamaat-e-Islami leader Golam Faruque from Tala upazila of Satkhira district.

He was arrested from Islamkati area on Wednesday noon.

Police said that the arrestee is accused in two violence cases.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Tala Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Razaul Islam said that on a tip-off, they conducted a drive to arrest Golam Faruque, upazila unit Jamaat shura member.
