DHAKA: Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan police detained two members of Hizb ut-Tahrir with huge banned Jihadi books from capital’s Uttara area early Monday.

Besides, four people, who allegedly cheat people identifying themselves as close relatives of IGP and other government officers, were also detained from city’s Mugda area.

Confirming the matter, DMP media center deputy commissioner of police Muntasirul Islam told acting on tip off, two members of Hizb-ut-Tahrir were detained from Uttara area and seized huge Jihadi books from the possessions. 

On the other hand, four cheaters have been grabbing money from many people for long in exchange of fake appointment letters of Bangladesh Police.
