THAKURGAON: BNP acting general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is set to arrive in Thakurgaon on Tuesday night to celebrate upcoming Eid-ul-Azha with family members and relatives.

Information and research affairs secretary Mamun-ur-Rashid of Thakurgaon BNP unit confirmed the matter on Monday (September 21) night.

Mirza Fakhrul is expected to arrive Syedpur by air at 5:00pm from Dhaka.

After holding a meeting with local leaders, he will leave for his home. On Wednesday, the BNP leader will visit Senuya graveyard to offer dua at his father’s grave.

Later on Thursday, he will hold meetings with the local leaders, Mamun-ur-Rashid added.

According to party sources, Fakhrul will join Eid congregations at Thakurgaon district school playground.

After the prayer, he will exchange Eid greetings with the local party leaders.

He will leave Thakurgaon for Dhaka on Saturday.
