RAJSHAHI: A Juba League leader has committed suicide after a quarrel with his wife in Rajarhata area of the city on Friday (May 6).

The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam Apple 38, president of ward-11 of the metropolitan city who hanged himself with ceiling fan in his own house. 

Boalia Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Motiur Rahman informed banglanews that police went to recover the body for autopsy. But on request from family police allowed the body to be buried without autopsy, he added.
