8 ‘Jamalpur razakars’ verdict any day

DHAKA: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) will deliver its verdict any day in war crimes cases against eight razakars of Jamalpur including Al-Badr Bahini founder Muhammad Ashraf Hossain.

A three-member ICT, led by Justice M Anwarul Haque, kept the judgment waiting (CAV- Curia advisari vult) after final hearing on Sunday (June 19).

Among the accused advocate Shamshul Haque and SM Yusuf Ali are in jail while other six – advocate Sharif Ahmed alias Sharif Hossain, Muhammad Ashraf Hossain, Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Mohammad Abdul Bari, M Harun and Mohammad Abul Hasen are fugitive.
