DHAKA: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday (June 19) demanded the judicial investigation of all recent assassinations.
He made the demand at a press conference at party central office in city’s Nayapaltan area this afternoon.
Moreover, Mirza Fakhrul criticized the PM’s speech on BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.
According to him, the PM’s speech on Tarique Rahman is indecent. ‘PM’s speech is the latest example of autocracy, instigation and vengeance.’
‘The PM is trying to divert people’s attention from the government’s repression in the name of curbing terrorism by delivering this sort of speech,’ Fakhrul added.
The BNP leader further said that his party is reiterating the demand of judicial investigation of all sorts of killings.
He also demanded the government to stop the extra-judicial killings in the country.
