GAZIPUR: Family members met Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, a convict of sentence to death for crimes against humanity during the Liberation War in 1971.

Six members of his family met with him around 12:00 pm on Friday (September 02) in Kashimpur prison-2.

They are Sayeedi’s wife Saleha Sayeedi, two sons Shameem Sayeedi and Nasim Islam, daughter-in-law Sayeda Sumaiya and two grandchildren Roman and Mahir.

Kashimpur prison-2 superintendent Prashant Kumar Banik told banglanews the family members of Jammat leader Delwar Hossain Sayeedi appealed to meet him around 11:30am and they got permission after some time.
