DHAKA: BNP announced a 10-day program to celebrate ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’ that falls on November 7.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the program schedule at party’s Naya Palton central office in city after a joint meeting on Thursday (October 20).

Party vice-chairman Shamshuzzaman Dudu and joint secretaries Mujibur Rahman Sarwar, Moazzem Hossain Alal, Khayrul Kabir Khokon and Barrister Mahbubuddin Khokon, among others, were also present at the event.

To a question, whether BNP will join AL council, Mirza Fakhrul said it will be decided by party members.

“We are happy that they have invited us. But they didn’t come when we invited them to our council,” he added.
