DHAKA: The closed-door council session of 20th National Council of ruling Awami League is underway at The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) on the second day on Sunday (October 23).

The session began around 9:40 am with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the party president, in the chair.

A new executive committee will be formed from the meeting.

Earlier, the two-day national council began on Saturday (October 22).
