Zilla Parishad polls in December

DHAKA: Government has decided to arrange Zilla Parishad elections in the last quarter of December next.

Local government has already sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC) in this regard.

Ministry deputy secretary Zobaida Nasreen confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Monday (October 24).

According to her, the government has taken the decision in principle that the Zilla Parishad elections will be held in the last quarter of December next.
