DHAKA: Names of 38 members of ruling Awami League’s advisory council were disclosed on Saturday (October 29).

However, the council will name four other members later as it consists of 42.

On the other hand, seven posts remain vacant out of 81 of its central working committee.

The list was published in a press release singed by AL office secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap.

The list got final approval by the prime minister and also AL president Sheikh Hasina in a meeting held at Ganabhaban on Friday (October 28).

Dr. SA Malek, Abul Maal Abdul Mohith, Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Suranjit Sengupta, Ishak Mia, Rahmat Ali and HT Imam were included among others in the advisory council.

AL general secretary Obaidul Quader said in a press briefing on Friday that decisions have yet taken about four posts of advisory council.
