DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC) for taking action against Salahuddin Ahmed Mukti, Joint Secretary General of the Jatiya Party's Central Committee and lawmaker from Mymensingh-5 constituency. 

ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Sunday afternoon (Dec 10).

He said Salahuddin Ahmed has concealed information about Tk 54 lakh worth of assets in his election affidavit. A letter, signed by ACC secretary Dr. Shamsul Arefin, was sent to EC on Dec 7.
