CHANDPUR: Home Minister MK Alamgir alleged that Jamaat-e-Islami had been creating the unrest in readymade garments sector.

He came up with the allegation in a programme of cheque distribution among the beneficiaries of social forestry project at Kachua upazila auditorium of the district on Friday.

In the KIDP arranged programme, MK Alamgir said, “Readymade garments sector is our national wealth. It is our holy duty to save the wealth, but few miscreants of Jamaat and other political parties are creating unrest in the sector.”

Police Superintendent M Amir Jafar, upazila chairman Ayub Ali Patwari nad vice chairman Kamrunnahar Bhuiyan among others were present in the programme.
