The former vice-president (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur has been sued over rape allegations. 

A student of Dhaka University has filed the case against six people including Nur with Lalbag police station on Sunday night.

AKM Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Lalbag police station, said: “In the case, complainant claimed that the rape incident took place in Nawabganj area of Lalbagh in Old Dhaka. The matter is investigated.”
