Tarique Rahman jailed for 2 years BNP Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman

A district court on Thursday sentenced BNP Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman to two years of imprisonment in a case filed for making derogatory remarks on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Judge Amatul Morsheda of Narail Judicial Magistrate Court-2 passed the order with Tk 10,000 fine for the convict.
