Marcus Stoinis scored 62 as Lucknow Super Giants edged past a game Mumbai Indians bowling lineup to win the match by 4 wickets, rising up to third in the table.

Nehal Wadhera’s 46 and Tim David’s last over flurry helped Mumbai Indians to a respectable 144/7 against the Lucknow Super Giants. Mumbai were rattled early, losing big names like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya inside he first 6 overs before Ishan Kishan and Wadhera somewhat resuscitated their innings.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) won the toss against Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians (MI) and opted to bowl first at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Quinton de Kock misses out for LSG while Mayank Yadav comes back in the team.
