DHAKA: Brazil finished the year with a hard fought 2-1 win over Austria, during a friendly match in Vienna on Tuesday.

The winning goal came from Roberto Firmino at 83 minutes, which allowed coach Dunga to maintain his unbeaten winning streak since taking over the head coaching job, repots conmebol.com.

This was the sixth win in six games under Dunga’s coaching, the report added.

The Brazilian team almost had to say goodbye to their winning streak. David Luiz put his team ahead at 64 minutes, while Aleksandar Dragovic equalized at 75 with a penalty shot and Roberto Firmino put in the finishing touch at 83 minutes for the final 2-1 win for the South Americans.

This victory at the Ernst Happel Stadium comes just six days after the 4-0 win last week in Turkey which   allows the team to chain together sixth straight wins after the World Cup.

The bad news of the day for the Brazilian team was the injury of Joao Miranda, who had to be replaced by Thiago Silva at 28 minutes into the match.
