DHAKA: Bangladesh team won three gold medals on shot-put, badminton and table tennis in Special Olympics Summer World Games in Los Angels.

In athletics, Suman Khan won the gold medal in shotput 4-kg, Rezwanul Haque in badminton single and Naimur Rahman in table tennis single.

Moreover, Khushi Khatum won bronze in 50 meter free style swimming and silver in 50 meter backstroke.

They won these medals on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Football Team also won in a match and draw in another.

An 80-member Bangladesh team is now in Los Angels.
