DHAKA: Rangpur Riders scored 176-run losing six wickets in their 20-over quota against Dhaka Dynamites (DD) in the seventh match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2015 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.

Lendl Simmons scored 51-run off 39-ball before being dismissed by Mosharraf Hossain. Besides, Mohammad Mithun, NLTC Perera, Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar scored 34, 27, 24 and 18 runs respectively.

Mustafizur Rahman and Yasir Shah took two wickets each while Abul Hasan and Mosharraf Hossain picked up one wicket each. 

Earlier, Riders captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and elected to bat first.

Out of two matches Riders have played so far, they won the first one against Chittagong Vikings but lost the second one against the Barisal Bulls by 13 runs.

On the other hand, Dhaka Dynamites have played only one game so far and gained success in that match against the Comilla Victorians.
