DHAKA:  Bangladesh announced on Thursday (August 30) a 15-man squad for the Asia Cup Tournament 2018 dropping Sabbir Rahman. 

Sabbir Rahman is left out of the squad as he has been under criticism for a very long time.

Ariful Haque, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mehedi Hasan, and Nazmul Islam are new ones in the final squad.

Mosaddek Hossain is still in the squad despite the fact that he is accused in a dowry case filed by his wife.

Squad: Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), Shakib Al Hasan (vice captain), Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Mithun, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim,  Ariful Haque, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mehedi Hasan, Nazmul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Hider Rony.
