DHAKA: The trophy of Bangabandhu Gold Cup’s fifth tournament was unveiled amid magnificent celebrations at a function held in Dhaka Saturday (Sept 22).

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Civil Aviation & Tourism Minister Shahjahan Kamal, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi Salahuddin, Senior Vice President Salam Murshedi and Vice President Kazi Nabil Ahmed, among others, were present. 

Actress Joya Ahsan and notable sports personalities from different football clubs also attended the function.

Six countries including Bangladesh will participate in this year’s game.

The tournament will kick off on October 1 through the opening clash between Bangladesh and Laos.
