DHAKA:   Visiting West Indies could not withstand the onslaught from the Bangladesh spinners, as they collapsed scoring only 75 for 5 against Bangladesh in the second and final Test at city’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday (December 1).

Shakib and Miraz shook the foundation of the visiting team. 

Bangladesh was bowled out for 508. 

Mahmudullah Riyad scored 136.

On the 1st day, Tigers scored 259 runs with the loss of five wickets.  

Mushfiqur Rahim became the second Bangladesh man to score 4000 Test runs.

Earlier, Tamim Iqbal had become the first to reach the mark in West Indies.

Shadman Islam hit his debut fifty off 147 deliveries in his debut Test cricket.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first in the second Test.
